Three things worth knowing.
Measure the height first.
Capacity is only one number. Height, diameter, venting, connections, and service clearance decide what truly fits.
Find the water shutoff.
If water is actively escaping, shut off the cold supply to the heater. For electric units, turn off the breaker only if it is safe to reach.
Send the whole setup.
For a toilet, shower, faucet, leak, or water heater, send one wide photo and one close-up of the problem. Add a model-label photo if there is one.
